Our Journey

We all need a little motivation when it comes to fitness. The purpose of this blog is to do just that. It is a story of success, failure, struggle, and triumph! My goal is to offer advice and real life experiences. Please offer your own advice, tips, and goals. Together we can change our lives and others... One Hour at a Time!

Sixty & Ninety Second Intervals

Over the past two weeks, the three of us ladies have been venturing out to Katy Trial to complete our Couch to 5K. While we have hit some hurdles including busy schedules and poor weather on some days, we've actually been pretty good and keeping up pace with the current schedule.

The program advises that for the first two weeks you do rotations of 60 & 90 second intervals where you mix 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking and do this over the course of your work out.

We'll go about 3-4 miles per work out period.... and honestly we all feel pretty great!

I'll definitely keep you posted with more updates!

Katy Trail Day 1

Yesterday, a few ladies from work and I began day 1 of couch to 5K. We walked a total of 3 miles and jogged 1 mile. The path was such a perfect spot to complete this challenge!

On another note, Ray and I borrowed a copy of P90X from a sweet friend. I will also have to keep you up to date on the progress. I have been informed that P90X is beyond challenging to say the least. I guess we'll see how it goes. Only 44ish days left until the beach with the fam:)

Fill'n our Tummies w/ Easter Yummies!

This was an amazing weekend of post birthday celebrations, dinners out, a night on the town, and delicious Easter goodies! This was NOT; however, a good weekend for our waist lines.

After a night of recouping, Ray and I will be back on track for our usual workouts. About 50 days until Panama City Beach:)
